Lesson#83: How to add a drop-down in an excel sheet

I always hear a common question from beginner Excel users “How to make a drop-down menu in Excel?”. I would like to ask them have used the feature Data Validation.

Select all the cells on which you want to create a drop-down then go to DATA>Data Validation. Select the option List below Allow:

Here you can put your options in the source area separated by a comma or

You can select them from another area of the sheet.

See in the above picture I have selected from another area of the sheet.

Then just click the OK button

TADAA! your drop-down menu is ready.
