Lesson#51: What is the CODE function in Excel?
CODE is the opposite of the CHAR function. The syntax of this function is CODE(text).
It will return the ASCII value of the first character of the text.

 I have shown in the above pictures how an ASCII table is created. function CHAR converts ASCII values to characters and function CODE converts characters into ASCII values.
