Excel DATE function

Function              DATE

Description        Excel DATE function returns the sequential serial number that represents a particular date. If the cell format was General before the function was entered, the result is formatted as a date.

Syntax  DATE(year,month,day)

year is the any value between 1900 to 9999

month is a value between 1 to 12

day is any value between 1 to 31
